they all talk about the value of starting the day quietly, writing in a journal.
It wasn’t until recently that I actually started to implement this practice in my own life on a regular basis, and I gotta tell you – I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.

Without some time alone in the morning, my day starts with chaos instead of quiet, reactivity instead of reflection, and let me tell you – when this happens, it’s hard to catch up!
So now I do my best to wake up an hour before everyone else in the house and start the day with intention. I never want to wake up that early, but I’m always glad I did.

Without these prompts, I often don’t know what to write about and find myself just staring at a blank page wishing I was still in bed.
